More generally: the mail list notifies us about _all_ package upgrades
for
security fixes. For bug and other patched packages run slackpkg which is
part of the core distribution. I usually do this on Friday or
Saturday. The
procedure is (as root):
# slackpkg update
# slackpkg upgrade-all
I just ran both of those and then attempted a restart. The login screen
shows up, but the mouse and keyboard no longer connect. When I try to
ssh in I get,
ssh: connect to host 192.168.0.134 port 22: No route to host
Sigh. Did I skip something important? Or did something else get messed up?
