I feel obligated to reply to this post complaining about people who feel
obligated to reply when they have nothing significant to contribute, even
though I have nothing significant to contribute.

I've been a list member long enough that the interactions I've had and
witnessed through it have shaped my attitudes towards others as I've grown
up. I have learned insight, patience, and better communication. I've also
learned a lot about what doesn't work when trying to relate to people, and
at least a little about when to keep my mouth shut. That one is still a
work in progress.

Of course, I am always looking for inspiration for my continuous
improvement efforts, but I've found the highest concentration of positive
influence to be this group.

Some day I might even learn to stop top posting....
