This is currently true. It used to show all the startup stuff, from when
it boots. But now, nothing.
You could try a few things:
* check bios that you VGA out is not disabled
* when in bios - if there is the option - disable the other outputs
Cant see the bios without a working monitor.
* connect and turn on the monitor before powering up the PC
That's the way I usually do it, but it doesn't matter this time.
I'm still hunting for that DVI cable.
Alas, I have other commitments for tomorrow, so I won't be able to bring
it to the clinic.
