Respect is simply a choice. Why do people respect & do business with
corporations that are literally destroying the very planet that we all all
live on?
1. Corporations ARE NOT "literally destroying the very planet that we
all live on?"
2. Corporations are part of the formula that created our prosperity,
lifted us out of poverty that lasted since the dawn of time, extended
our average life span from a few decades to almost 90 years, and is
the ONLY known way to provide the many things we enjoy at prices we
can afford. It is not possible to build affordable cars, computers or
most things on a small scale and without the pooling of money that
corporations provide with legal immunity for stockholders.
Yes, the tarps, tents, shopping carts and trash are unsightly but that's
very temporary and very easily fixed.
Where's all your contempt for all the super fund sites? For the polluted
rivers? For the polluted air? For the constant surveillance of your
personal life? For the mis-appropriation of common spaces and common
resources for private gain?
By almost ALL measures, our environment is improving - less air
pollution, less water pollution, more trees, less polluting cars
(better than buses now!). Super fund sites are being cleaned up -
that's why they were designated as super fund. I note that Trump is
cleaning up some of the faster than Obama did.
As for surveillance, that is a real concern with the poster child for
excess being the deep state listening in on Trump's calls!
thanks
