I will *ONLY* be _printing_ text on standard 8.5 by 11 inch paper.
Scanning and/or color print capability are of no interest.
WiFi or Bluetooth might possibly perhaps occasionally be convenient, the
printer *MUST NOT* require either to be present.
I noticed some printers recommend (require?) a minimum print volume of
100 pages per month.
My visual image was of small (~14x4x4 box) single page at a time dot
matrix (perhaps impact) printer of decades gone by. Once upon a time
there was a "do one thing well" philosophy. Now it seems to be "how many
features(sic) can be crammed in".
