Is ~/mail is a directory or a file? I assume the former. If so, do you have the MAILDIR variable defined?
Paul, A directory. I understand that maildir keeps each message as a separate file while mbox keeps messages in topic-specific files. So ~/mail/spatial-analyses is the file where those messages should go
MAILDIR=$HOME/mail
MAILDIR=$HOME/mail DEFAULT=/var/spool/mail/rshepard ORGMAIL=/var/spool/mail/rshepard LOGFILE=$PMDIR/log Currently messages to [email protected] are the only ones where procmail cannot write to the proper folder/filename.
