I do not see it this way. Nobody is forcing anyone/me to use clodflare, it is just one of the choices people make. Like chosing 8.8.8.8 or 4.4.4.4 or 1.1.1.1 DNS resolvers. Local cache/DNS will still work, albeit with additional config step.
