It's worth noting that HDMI issues on dual-GPU laptops on linux are
common and not necessarily relevant to single GPU problems. It has to do
with problems handing off control of the display from one GPU to another.
You've confirmed that your laptop only has the single GPU but your
symptoms are similar so SEO starts running amok when you run searches.
Could be going down the wrong rabbit hole so taking everything with a
grain of salt is a good idea.

anything with single graphics.
