Believe it or not, most of the time my web browser is not up on my
desktop. I restore it to the desktop only for brief times when I'm
actually going to use it. Therefore, I do not want to have to restore
my browser to the desktop, then find the tab containing the weather,
just so I can see what the temperature and wind speed are outside.

My old weather utility sat in my Xfce panel where it displayed the
temperature and wind speed without my having to do anything - not even
a click. It was always there, just like the clock. If I clicked on it I
could see a forecast for up to ten days, but the forecast was poorly
done - and even the current temperature and wind speed were
occasionally a bit off. I could restore it if I upgrade to Xfce 4.14,
but considering its problems, I'd rather just find something else. But
if I have to use a web browser just to see the current temperature and
wind speed, I'd rather just get out of my chair and walk outside.
