According to lsmod, it is an acx 111 chipset, which should work with the prism driver, I just can't get it to. When I do lsmod, it shows the driver to be loaded, but when I do an ifconfig -a it shows eth0, lo, and sit0. I believe that sit0 is just a bridge from IP4 to IP6, right? Anyway, Prism54 shows up in my lsmod, but not in my ifconfig -a. The card shows up in an lspci as network controller: Texas Instruments ACX 111 54Mbps Wireless interface.
I have checked, and the chipset seems to be supported; it would be supported natively if I were masochistic enough, I would load Suse. The driver is installed in the default install of suse, but that seems a little nasty to me. I loathe YAST! Please help, Mike PS Thanks for the help. --- shadoi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > If it's made in China, it won't work as that's a Marvell chipset and > not > the Prism.
