Because of that Gnome problem I had earlier (which lead to much bigger problems while trying to fix it) I ended up just re-installing Suse 9.2. Same exact hard ware but the sound is all messed up. When I run their test sound it plays just fine, but every player or mixer I have freaks out at me and says there is no device or channel. I managed to get XMMS to work by manually switching it to OSS drivers. All of this was working just fine on my last 9.2 install, what can I do to get it back to normal?
