Do a google search for +halifax +explosion.  A ship full of explosives
exploded (several hudred thousand pounds of TNT).  Reports were that
windows shattered 50 miles away.  And this was in 1917.

It must still be growing, latest news reports crater is 75ft wide, x 30ft deep. If my math is correct thats 7068.5 cu ft of debris anyone care to double check the math here?
