I've had comcast at two locations in Orem. From my experience I've got 8 megabit reliably day or night. Lately, they *require* you to install some M$ Windows software to verify your computer is ready to surf the Internet before the line is activated (the route changes at that time). Never experienced downtime.
Do they offer a static IP (I don't see it on their site)?
