Sometimes you have to have someone else hold the bottle so you can get
both hands on the pliers. If you do that, you have to be careful not
to spill the wine when the cork pops out.
Wow, that is quite resourceful of you. I just use a hammer and pick out
the glass slivers. Same great taste, less filling. Pardon me, I have
some holes to plug...
