You're asking for an awful lot. You'll have worse luck with ATI, especially if you have a wide-aspect ratio monitor. NVidia's drivers are flaky, but ATI's are far far worse. My work computer had an ATI in it (dual DVI) and I threw it out for a middle-of-the-road nvidia card. NVidia is the lesser of two evils here. I haven't had any stability problems with NVidia's drivers in years now. I use their 64-bit drivers at work and the 32-bit ones at home.
