Yes folks, it's time again for the annual PLUG/Interlug BBQ, and I'd like to
begin polling the list for help in getting this setup. I have a list of some
areas I need the groups input/help on. If you have an opinion (hey it's
plug, of course you will) please follow up on the thread. If you have
something you want to sponsor, or do, just let me know.

Last year's BBQ was great! It was fun to bring my sweetie & kids to a
Users Group event.

Date: We're planning on having this for our June meeting, but we won't be
fixed on the 2nd Wednesday.

I suggest the second Saturday, June 9, but Wednesday, June 6 would be
fine, too, if folks can attend midweek. Might it be difficult to have
a late night on a Wednesday if some kids are still in school?

Location: Last year was good, if possible we'd like a larger pavillion, and
not so much problem with the power :) Last year it was also nice to have
somebody besides me paying for the pavillion (thanks Herlo/Lars). DO we
want the Scera parks again, or is somebody wanting to schedule a different
location?

Jordy?

Food: Do we want just open pit again? or do we want to do a potluck/navajo
taco type deal?

Grilled flesh & veggies get my vote - open pit. Maybe with a twist
though... how about a grilled sausage, grilled beef, grilled fruit,
grilled veggies contest?

Activities: Do we want to publish a surplus swap meet again? (YES, I have
stuff to give away). How about the after hours game night again? Other
challenges activities we want to do?

Board games afterward would be great!

Short(less than one hour) games nominations:

Perudo(Liar's Dice variant)

Coyote (another bluffing game where every one has numbered cards in a
headband - fun to watch & fun to play)

Sponsors: Anybodies company want to spent some promotional money for the
location, for food/drinks/etc, or some swag?

I suggest using a wiki for signups to help coordinate the event.
Here's what was done last year:
