All of our instructors are given LACIE Rugged disks. I haven't taken it
to war, but I have lugged it across the nation in my backpack and been
quite impressed. Looks like newegg has the 1TB model for $136.

My only warning is that the larger models are more power hungry. While
my old 500GB could run off a single USB ports, my 1TB usually requires
two USB ports to get enough power.
