Mine hasn't shipped yet either. When the SheevaPlug was first announced and I ordered one, it was about a month late as well. One thing I found out is that I actually really do need the jtag adapter in order to access the serial console. Either that or you can build your own adapter to adapt the voltages coming over the 4-wire port on the guruplug to rs232 voltages. The 4-wire port is based on 0/3v signaling if I recall. Seemed simplest to buy the stupid jtag, so I did. Should have picked up the deal when I first ordered the plug. Oh well.
