I've set up plenty of Xen virtual machines with multiple, bridged interfaces, and everything, including dhcp worked fine. In order to answer your question, though, you need to provide more information. What are the subnets on each interface? Is there a DHCP server running on that subnet? What do you mean when you say it refuses to work? You can't ping anything on that subnet (like the gateway)? Is iptables on your virtual machine blocking things?
