So PLUG, I'm thinking about getting these: Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128485 Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226188 CPU : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103858
Video card is an nVidia deal I already have, and I already have an Areca 4-port RAID card and drives to put on it, so that will be moving from my current desktop. This is all because my current mobo seems to have an issue that causes my PC to restart at random points. So the question is, do you have opinions on any of this? Should I be using Intel instead? Why? Anything you hate about the motherboard? Maybe you know a guy at Mushkin and he's just the biggest jerk ever, so you want everyone to boycott them? Now's the time to rise up to victory against your sad little vengeance! Tell me what you think of this. Maybe make suggestions of replacements if you think they suck. (Purpose for this machine will be to dev stuff, serve my music via subsonic, general computing, gaming with the family, and the occasional encoding job.) -Tod Hansmann /* PLUG: http://plug.org, #utah on irc.freenode.net Unsubscribe: http://plug.org/mailman/options/plug Don't fear the penguin. */
