Haven't done anything yet. But with a HAM license I can use more than the standard 100 mW 2.4 GHz video transmitters. Currently though I'm thinking about using 2.4 GHz FrSky for command and control (up to a mile some folks are getting) and then 5.8 GHz video (which can work up to 3/4 of mile for some folks, depending on conditions). In the 72 MHz world, there are some channels only HAMs can use. >From what I can see most folks currently using FPV (first-person video) in RC are using power levels far above what is legal without a HAM license. 500 mW or even a watt is common, but illegal. /* PLUG: http://plug.org, #utah on irc.freenode.net Unsubscribe: http://plug.org/mailman/options/plug Don't fear the penguin. */
