Everyone, My former employer, who I'm still doing some consulting work for, would like to have an independent audit of the IT department. Specifically, they are looking for someone to audit the policies, procedures, staffing, server/network infrastructure and make recommendations for improvement. Does anyone have any experience with a local organization that performs IT audits?
