That is true if its a direct placement.  If you are on a hourly contract for
a period of time, they get a percentage of what you make.

This is all transparent to the employee though.  If you want 100.00 an hour,
ask for 100.00.  The recruiter will then 130.00 an hour or whatever % their
company takes.
