That's a new one on me. Is it standard in most distributions or do you need
to get it somewhere?

Everything makes sense except for the RAIDs part. Why wouldn't that work
for a RAID? I can't think of a reason, but then it's already been shown I
don't always understand the underlying mechanics of RAIDs as well as I
probably should.
