I think we should flip the spectrum and give someone else a chance to be the "right." Wonder how that'd play out if the current right-wing got to be "left wing" for a change, and left wing got to be labeled "right wing." :) I personally find "right" and "left" to be useless ways of describing politics these days, particularly in the US. They've lost all meaning. And "liberal" and "conservative" are also meaningless terms. I know plenty of people who call themselves conservatives and are anything but. For example, those of us who reside outside the US laugh hysterically whenever we hear of folks in the US calling Obama "socialist." We (now I'm an American too, but I'm speaking from my current perspective of residing outside the US) out here in the world absolutely cannot tell a single difference between this administration and the last one. Neither one is conservative. How is starting wars and invading countries "conservative?" Now I'm a conservative in almost all ways. But you'd probably find me a raving liberal. /* PLUG: http://plug.org, #utah on irc.freenode.net Unsubscribe: http://plug.org/mailman/options/plug Don't fear the penguin. */
