That's why when this thread started I specifically said magazines that were still physically printed on paper. I'd love to use Linux Journal, as I used to be a subscriber to them. But at present (and for the foreseeable next few years), I have access to NO electronic publications. At least, unless someone wants to be nice enough to download it and print it, then mail me the printout. :) Since the answer to someone who is willing to take the time and expense of doing that is virtually nil, then I stick to the "No, that won't work for me at the moment." answer. :( A basic rule of thumb is this: if the entire web item of discussion (magazine, web page, etc...) can be downloaded in a single GET operation, and then viewed in something akin to vi or emacs, then I can see it. If it takes any more formatting than vi/emacs/notepad would be willing to do, then no I can't see it. Web pages work because they can be saved in text only format, stripping out html tags. --- Dan On Sat, Jan 18, 2014 at 2:50 AM, Michael Torrie <[email protected]> wrote: > On 01/17/2014 11:18 AM, David Landry wrote: > > On Fri, Jan 17, 2014 at 2:33 AM, Dan Egli <[email protected]> wrote: > >> > >> That sounds good.
