Well, I've no idea why this should be so - but I loaded the 6.0.3 nightly 06-08 as suggested by Neil, so I could better trace - and it works!!!! In fact I'm listening to an old Goon show as I write. This technology is amazing - and I haven't even got my SB2 yet (though that seems to be imminent too).
