All (but especially James), I've just committed to CVS what I hope is a fix to the UTF8 problem. If you've been seeing mangled characters, please grab the latest off CVS and let me know if you still see problems. Give Sourceforge a couple of hours to mirror the changes onto anonymous CVS, though.
