Just to mention, Julian, AlienBBC is included on the SlimCD. All of my attempts to get AlienBBC working under Win XP and Linux have failed miserably but it works out of the box using the SlimCD.
Nice to know :-). After all java, mplayer and all that stuff takes up at least a third of the whole image. But this won't help you with your installation...
