I think the answer is just to sync the softsqueeze and SB. You can do that by setting Player Settings->Audio->Synchronisation in the web UI. They'll stay sync'd until you unsync them. The two displays won't completely mimic each other, but you can control the softsqueeze from the SB and the 'Now Playing' info will be the same.
