There are a few causes for corrupted streams: 1) If this is for real time streams, but not listen again, then it is an mplayer problem which Alien can't do anything about
2) If you normally stream mp3s only over a wireless network, then it could be a lack of slimserver->player bandwidth. In this case please try the solution that Michael proposed - enable streaming via mp3. 3) If you are streaming as wav/flac and are using linux with a 2.4 kernel then there is a known problem which a handful of people have seen.
