I have slimserver 6.1, alien bbc 0.98. I installed alien bbc exactly as directed:
mplayer into: usr/local/bin codecs folder into: usr/local/lib/mplayer other components as asked. when i play a stream via slimserver, it turns on, the clock starts running (elapsed time), no sound is produced, and about every 5-15 seconds it restarts.
