OK, this is going to be helpful. Maybe you just had a misprint in your post on the other thread, or perhaps you have reinstalled. I was a bit sharp with you before, because you had said that you had put mplayer in a different location from the recommended one. We know now that mplayer is working, and as the clock is progressing (when I had trouble the clock stayed at zero) so something is happening. I don't think you said whether you had Squeezebox 1 or 2, and whether you were working wired or wireless. All these might help. I can see a significant difference in your log from the log I get when things are working. There's nothing about flc (FLAC format) in your log, which I get and would certainly expect with a wireless SB2. One quick thing that occurs to me is that you should go to Server Settings > File Types and make sure the three RTSP types are checked. If they aren't, that might be enough to solve it. If they are, I suspect something wrong with LAME or its installation.
