Danco, Right I've finally got some sound after copying codecs to:
/Library/Application Support/ffmpegX/reallib A few things though 1) It only works if I run slimserver from shell and not from the Preference Pane, ie cd /Users/userxx/Library/PreferencePanes/SlimServer.prefPane/Contents/server perl perl slimserver.pl What's the difference from starting the slimserver through the Prefs GUI? 2) The sound for example on Radio 4 (speech) sounds as if there is re-verb or at a very low bit rate.
