1. Can you add advanced alarms - I can't live without my snooze function.
I don't know why it isn't there any more. I was sure I included it... will do.
You could add it manually (of course). That part is not read only.
2. The library count is different between the PC rescan and the SlimCD rescan, by about 20 artists? Any ideqs why. Haven't looked at at detail to see whos missing. Just seemed odd.
As for the reason: there might be some non-latin character in a tag? Are you using the same versions of slimserver on both devices?
3. In trying to save my config, instructions say to edit filelist (or something) with segedit (or something like that - don't have it in front of me).
This is possibly one of the apps I removed... open a shell window and run "nano filelist.lst" (or something ;-)), do your changes and quit using ctrl-x.
Try as I might I could not find any editors. Tired MC commander->edit but when I clicked edit, nothing happened. Also how do I save the library so I can go back and forth between PC and slimcd?
I'm not even sure you can exchange the database between the two systems. File paths differ as Windows uses drive letters and backslashes whereas on linux there are no driveletters bat forward slashes.
