Diamond Mutlimedia bought them I think...and pretty much immediately stopped production...changed to SonicBlue and then booom.
I just went googling and it's great to see the old box I forgot I ever wanted. To be honest I think if these guys had done everything right I don't think any of us would be here. This was 2 years before the SlimMP3 and look at it. It's not that ugly, it's got firmware upgrades and all the right ideas and I'd be suprised if it didn't influence in some way the Slim.
