Yup, it helps. I didn't see any updated in iTunes so first I thought it was the service-installation. I then ran it from the cmd-line and still no updates. Had forgot to switch back from direct update off to direct update on. Duh! Tried once more, with no luck. Turned on iTunes and voilá! I'd prefer a version where I don't need to open iTunes, but still, this is just a minor "drawback". I think I'm gonna install the Perl-package instead so I can run updates every now and then - I need to start slim as a service so that as soon the computer fires up, the slimserver wakes up. We are three people using this computer and we can't rely on one person that has to be logged in. btw, the web UI looks nice! I didn't have a closer look, but will the rating be available in the right pane (the playlist pane) as well?
