Thanks for the great work on SlimCD. I was just wondering what you
would think of using a device like this:

Don't expect high speed with searches and you'll be happy with it. Expect
the web interface to suffer more than the player interface.
There's a big BUT, though: check whether it can boot from CF! I thought
that the slower Via boards with on board CF adapter did not boot from that
card. I'm using a CF->IDE adapter in my 600MHz box.
to run SlimCD from a CF card.
Just use the frugal install to prevent too many write accesses to the card.
