Assuming that you have a directory called Alien in the Plugins directory, then to see if there are any messages at startup which may help to tell why AlienBBC is running do the following.
1) stop the server from the systray. 2) open a cmd windows [start, run, type "cmd" return] 3) cd c:\Program Files\SlimServer\server 4) slim --d_plugins Look at the messages that are produced and see if it gives any reasons.
