Slimserver doesn't even try to load the AlienBBC so I think you should look carefully at this part of you installation. Specifically
1. There should be a directory called Alien in a directory Plugins. The directory Plugins should have other directories 2. In the Alien directory there should be a file called Plugin.pm - if you examine it it will be the main AlienBBC file. 3. If Slimserver can't "see" the Alien/Plugin.pm file either because it isn't there or because it can't read it (e.g. protection, ownership) then slimserver won't load AlienBBC. 4.
