Jim,

Hard to tell... What exactly am I looking at on the plugin page when I
see "(Couldn't find any information!(2))"?

If the plugin can't get (usually due to a timeout) the content from allmusic.com, it will display that message. You're looking at the plugin's web page which does consist of a simple error message.

Because it never changes. I assume it's the last error message. Is
there a way to clear it?

Isn't there an update link on the page? Or open the page in a new window where you can hit ctrl-f5 to force a refresh.

I also just installed your string editor and when I do a search the
plugin seems to hang up - I get an hourglass that doesn't go away.

That's a problem I fixed only a few days ago - and forgot to upload the file. Could you please download the latest zip file and give it another try?
