Hi Felix, Thanks a lot for replying. I am using the alram plug-in come with SlimServer. I played around and it seems to be that, when I use the volume up and volume down IR function, the alarm does not work. But if I disable these two by using only power on and power off, then alarm works fine. I may be wrong but this is what it appears to me. I will try to enable the volume up/down again to check whether the alram function goes bad again.
