Problem with doing this is that the findbin in Plugin.pm is not used to find the file when mplayer.sh is run. It will search PATH, /usr/bin, /usr/local/bin and /sw/bin for the file plus some mac specific locations. Hence this is not a reliable way of knowing whether mplayer.sh can find it...
Dan - I think slimserver.log is the same as the one I was refering to [it will be different for differnt unixes]. As long as the "Streaming: Launching" messages are stored there, it should include the error message we are producing. Does OSX actually have a 'which' command? Does the attached mplayer.sh work (to ensure we are talking about the same thing!): +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: mplayer.sh.gz | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1152| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- Triode ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Triode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22476 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
