That's correct - I wrote it for 6.2.2. It will probably work for earlier
versions of SlimServer, but I haven't tried. It doesn't currently work with
6.5.
In fact, it stopped working for me in 6.2.2 all of a sudden when I tried to
enhance the plugin further. Thinking that I had broken something, I went back
to the known-working release, which still didn't work! Essentially, the plugin
remaps the Add.hold to invoke the main plugin menu, only it wasn't working for
me anymore. I spent a while investigating, but temporarily gave up.
I have now upgraded to 6.5, so I plan to try again.

I am aware of this issue. It was kind of by design, in that I didn't want any
bugs in the plugin to completely trash my filesystem playlists.
After you have added songs to a slimserver playlist, you can cause the playlist
to be flushed permanently to disk by either:
From SqueezeBox:
1. Load (play) the playlist
2. Press Add.hold and select Save Playlist from the PlaylistMan menu.
From WebUI:
1. Browse to the playlist.
2. Either edit the playlist, then click "done editing", or click
Rename, then "Confirm Overwrite" and click Rename again.
I have loads of ideas that I want to get into this plugin. In fact, I'll
probably be splitting the plugin into a couple or more distinct plugins.
1. PlaylistMan: will purely be for editing playlists from a SqueezeBox.
2. NowPlayling: will enhance the Now Playing button. Will bring up a menu for
the context of the currently playing track. eg. to invoke lyrics, Biography,
Album Review plugins, etc.
Please send me any bugs, enhancement requests, etc. I'll try to get some
updates in soon (when I get the existing plugin working again!).
Phil
