From memory, I don't think it crashed; it just went very weird within the
plugin menu, presenting blank menu options, etc. I think I recovered by
backing out of the menus. Then later, I checked the log and saw the error
reports.
It's not a big deal in that hopefully my "always-connected" internet connection
will eventually get better ;)
