Hi bpa I first tried the Windows installer executable but it refused to go past the second folder confirmation dialogue - each time I clicked NEXT nothing happened.
So I used the ZIP file instead. I manually extracted the files (keeping the folder names) into the SlimServer/server folder so that the files ended up in the subfolders of Plugins/Alien. Under ... SlimServer/server/Plugins/Alien I have: AlienAddon AlienNPRNewsMenu AlienNPRProgramMenu AlienNPRRSSMenu HTML EN Then I installed mplayer, the codec files, and did the two tests here http://www.x2systems.com/AlienBBC/installation.html which worked fine.
