I double-clicked on the 'Upgrade Slimserver' icon on the top of the
SlimCD page, and a bunch of messages when flicking by - when I went to
the SB3, it was waiting for me to do the 'press brightness' thing, and
The script is broken. As 6.2.2 now is final, the path in the script is
pointing to the wrong place (nightly builds).
Please open a shell window on your SlimCD and run the following commands:
sudo su
cd /opt/SlimCD
mv slimupdate.pl slimupdate.pl.old
wget -O slimupdate.pl http://www.herger.net/slim/slimupdate.txt
chmod a+x slimupdate.pl
./slimupdate.pl
This will update SlimCD to the latest, stable 6.2.2 release. Until you
boot your machine... I'll have to come up with a slightly more intelligent
update script :-)
