This thread is primarily intended for Micheal Herger, author of these
fine plugins.

...but everybody feel free to chime in if they want to volunteer in improving it :-)

Neither of the plugins are in the slimdevices subversion tree. How
come?

It's my own project. Slimdevices want's to have a small but stable code base. Any plugin added to the trunk must be maintained by them. As long as plugins stay third party it's up to its author to keep it up to date.

Plus these two are a little special about the way they fetch their information. I never got an answer from allmusic.com when I asked for permission...

Since they aren't in subversion, what's the process of getting you the
Nokia770 skin support? Can I post the index.html files for the two
plugins and have you just fold that into your ZIP distributions?

That will be the best way, yes. How much skin specific stuff will there be? I'd like to add 6.5 compatible skins really soon. Will this still need N770 specific code?

Should the album review plugin show more than a bulleted list of album
reviews that open in a separate window?

This depends: I can only use artist or album name to search for information. If they're unique, you're fine and get the whole story. If they're not, you'll get a list of possible matches. And then there's the spelling problem: the plugins won't match "colour" and "color", "boys" and "boyz", "nightmare" and "a nightmare".

An observation-- the output from the Biography plugin has a <table>
element that is never closed (as well as the associated <tr> and <td>
tags). For now I am closing these elements in my index.html, but you'd
probably agree that should be done by the plugin itself.

With which skin? I usually try to create correct code.

These are really cool plugins by the way. They will be a really great
addition to using the Nokia 770 as a slim remote, too.

Speaking of slim remote: I plan to add CLI to these plugins, too. Of little interest for you, but important for the real SlimRemote ;-)
