Hi Michael 1 - my nasty crash - I did go off looking for helpful trace information but, as I said, I've not been able to reproduce it. If I ever do get it reproducable I will certainly look for some debug traces. In any case I'm happy to know it can't possibly be your fault!! I'm pretty sure it stopped at "initialisation - 12%".
2 - no, mine is not a hi-res device 3 - I don't get either the Ewe logo or a slimremote icon on my task bar (there's no room for one anyway) 4 - a new comment - just playing with it some more, I notice that if I am browsing in the "music" window, and drill down to the track list inside an album, and then highlight a track.... if I then move to the playlist window, that track I had highlighted is played as if I had pressed the "play" button (but I haven't!). I don't think it should do this.
