Two things: I'm part of the beta testing group for MusicIP (not great magic to it - you need to email them) and they've recently put out a beta which is describe as "rc" or release candidate. It fixes a few of the annoying bugs in the current version.
MusicIP is a bit temperamental if you overload it whilst it is still analysing your music - it is a very resource intensive process. Trying to run mixes whilst it is still analysing will cause it to close out. Also, it's worth closing down any non-essential system processes and not to access your music in any other way. Best advice is to leave your PC on overnight with Processing Speed set to Maximum rather than in the day when you're trying to use your PC. On installing MusicIP as a service, see the second page of this very helpful thread, about halfway down (which is the solution I used): http://tinyurl.com/j8pwa -- Siduhe ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Siduhe's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=723 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24181 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
